Below is an update from the Silent Auction committee…
Hope everyone is ready for the new year. Time is sure flying, we have zipped right through fall and jumped into winter head first and plowed through the holiday season! As the days pass the heat is on for us to get ready for the silent auction. As mentioned in our first meeting, please do not wait until late January to start requesting and securing the donations. It takes time to get the request in and get approvals.
We have an Auction meeting Sunday January 6th at 6:30pm and we hope you can all make it!
In order to make this a home run event we want to ask everyone to HIT THE STREETS! Let’s get out and ask for those donations that will help us prepare for the silent auction.
Please take a look at the spreadsheet and pick a handful of places to request support from and call or visit them with a copy of the 501C letter. Remember to also check with family and friends that own their own business and need a year end tax deduction, have a great contact in a home based business, or that have a talent they can share. No donation is too small.
Please note that we have kept the 2018 list available so that you can see who we asked last year, and as always we would like to ADD onto the list this year for our 2019 event.
Now get out there and HIT it out of the park!!!
