Welcome New Head Coach Nate Hillery

From Cort Hamilton, Hilliard Bradley Athletic Director:

We are excited to announce that Nate Hillery has accepted the Head Baseball position at Bradley. The skill set and experiences that this position attracted is a testament to the high level of baseball in Central Ohio and to the type of community and people we have here at Hilliard Bradley. As we worked through a tremendous pool of candidates it was apparent that Nate has the attributes we expect to see in all Jaguars. His Character, Leadership, Attitude, and Will are an excellent addition to our department’s culture and will have an immediate positive impact on our young people. Below are some highlights of Nate’s experiences, as well as a link that he would like players/families to fill out to begin the communication process. Please join us in welcoming Nate and his family!

Nate Hillery has been a fixture in Central Ohio baseball since he moved here five years ago leaving his position as an assistant coach at Wayland Baptist University to take the same role at Olentangy Orange. In his one year there, he helped Orange win its first ever OCC Championship. He then took the head job at Bishop Ready where he was for two years helping send two players to Division 1 college programs and improving the team’s win total by 7 wins from the first season to the second. The last two seasons he has been the pitching coach at Dublin Coffman and helped develop the arms throughout the program. He has also worked with Prep Baseball Report, Buckeye Elite Showcase Tournament, Worthington Wood Bat Tournament, and for the last two years been a coach at Vanderbilt University’s youth camp.
