The Jaguars kicked off the 2026 season with an outstanding Spring Break trip to Clarksville, Tennessee, an experience that delivered both high-level competition and lasting memories for our players.
Over the course of the week, we faced a strong group of opponents from multiple states, including Lyon County (KY), Downers Grove North (IL), Willowbrook (IL), and Noblesville (IN). The Jaguars rose to the challenge, returning home with a 3-1 start to open the season.
In addition to competing on the field, our players had the opportunity to experience college baseball firsthand, taking in games at Louisville and Vanderbilt, watching Louisville face Pitt and Vanderbilt take on Belmont. Experiences like these are invaluable for our players as they continue to develop their understanding and appreciation of the game.
Beyond the results, the trip provided a meaningful opportunity for team growth, development, and camaraderie. Competing against quality programs in a new environment is a key part of our approach to preparing for the season ahead.
We’re extremely grateful to everyone who helped make this trip possible, and to the organizations that played a role in creating such a first-class experience for our program!
