JVB Jaguars Combine for No-Hitter in Scrimmage Win Over Licking Heights

The JVB team put together a strong all-around performance Friday in a scrimmage against Licking Heights, earning a 10–2 win behind a combined no-hitter on the mound.

Bennett Williams, Braden McEnery, and Jaxson Bryner led the effort, teaming up to keep Licking Heights hitless throughout the game. Bryner closed it out, recording the final out on a pop-up to finish off the no-hitter.

The JVB team set the tone early with a seven-run first inning. Bennett Williams got things started with an RBI single, followed by a two-run double from Eli Goodrich, a two-run double from Carter Jackson, and a two-run single from Lane Adelman.

The offense added three more runs in the second inning. Reece Homier brought one in with a sacrifice bunt, while Jackson and Ben Jereb each delivered RBI hits to extend the lead.

On the mound, Williams set the tone with two hitless innings, striking out three. McEnery was dominant in relief, recording five strikeouts, and Bryner finished the job with three hitless innings and six strikeouts.

Jackson also led the offense, going 2-for-2 with three RBIs from the eight spot in the lineup.

The JVB team will look to carry that momentum into Monday’s matchup at home against Gahanna Lincoln.

The 2026 Jaguars Baseball Schedule Is Here — Bring It On!

The wait is finally over. Hilliard Bradley Baseball is back, and the 2026 season schedule is officially set!

The Jaguars open with a home scrimmage against Delaware Hayes on March 13th, then hit the road for early tune-ups at Dublin Scioto, Milford (OH), and Gahanna Lincoln. Spring Break takes the squad on the road to Clarksville, Tennessee, to face Lyons County (KY), Downers Grove North (IL), Willowbrook (IL), and Noblesville (IN) March 30th – April 2nd.

OCC Conference play heats up in April with back-to-back series against Upper Arlington, Hilliard Davidson, Olentangy Liberty, Olentangy Orange, and Dublin Coffman.

The stretch in May features Senior Night on May 11th before the regular season closes with road games at Dublin Scioto, Bishop Hartley, and Hilliard Darby on May 16th & 18th.

This group plays with HEART — Humility, Effort, Attitude, Respect, and Trust — and they’re ready to put it on display for the entire season!

Night at the Races – Tonight!

Tonight is finally here! Night at the Races has arrived, and we’re looking forward to an exciting and memorable event.

Over the past several days, we’ve seen great momentum and strong support from our families and community. Thank you to everyone who has helped spread the word and support the event! As we head into the final hours, we encourage anyone who hasn’t yet to share the event one last time with friends or family. A small outreach goes a long way, and your continued support truly makes a difference!

Night at the Races – This Friday!

While we are all stuck indoors, please continue to spread the word regarding Night at the Races. We are picking up steam, but still have more work to do to sell out the event.
